Unearthing the surpassing riches of Christ

Crumbs of Grace: A Poem

Once an outsider looking in
  on people wondrously fed.
Aware of overwhelming sin
  and a debt I could not shed.

Hope sprang a new in Jesus’ face;
  pleading “Nothing I deserve,
Yet, I ask for only crumbs of grace
  for perfect peace these shall serve.”

Based on Matthew 15:21-28.
